Recently finished reading this book: Tea with Jane Austen by Kim Wilson, it was a gift and full of a lot of interesting historical notes as well as modern day adaptations of recipes from the Regency era.  Tea — as Jane Austen notes in many of her letters was an important part of the family and social life.  Not just how it was served, but purchasing it, and also how it was stored.

Yesterday, I traveled with a friend to meet members of JASNA to Brookline, NH for an afternoon of tea and conversation.  We met up at a lovely tearoom and shop called: The Cozy Tea Cart, which is located next to the Andres Art Institute — a sculpture park complete with trails.
